This course had made me gain new insights into most compelling topics of Alternative Dispute Resolution, out-of-court settlement, arbitration, mediation, litigation explosion as well as punishment-oriented and diversion-oriented legal perspectives. The ways in which I grasped knowledge in these topics and applied my acquired knowledge has made be satisfied. This is because the course textbook has provided me with substantial subject matter and supportive references/examples. I specifically liked the topic of litigation explosion as I had not known much about the ways in which caseload had been difficult to be managed by judges. I developed a habit of reading the course textbook to learn about the basic definitions and core concepts of the compelling topics.
